Service

Everytime I come across a programmming issue, I visit Stack Overflow and do a search and I am very likely to find someone who has encounterd a similar problem and a solution by a fellow developer. I always asked myself what motivates others to solve the problems of others on this platform but I figured everyone has their motivations. In school, on one of the days working through an assignment, I decided that I wanted to contribute back to the community by helping others facing issues. Recently, I offered a solution to an issue on Github and the guy who posted the question replied with a thank you message.

It made me feel great and my whole day from that moment forward was wonderful. Maybe being of service to others is what makes me happy.
