I weighed myself yesterday and the scale read 96.7kg. A couple of months back, I had embarked on a weight loss challenge with a couple of friends – the challenge was to lose 10% of our weight. I was 92kg at that time. In the months that followed, I began running again, eating two, instead of the usual three meals, a day, and yet I have gained weight. I feel better than I used to before, but it is rather perplexing that I have gained weight.

Today, I decided to sign up for Noom, a weight loss app that will guide me along my fitness journey. I hope that this along with my gym membership will put me on my way to becoming a healthier person. I have also added a weight chart on my home page as I track this journey. I hope that when I finally reach my ideal weight of 82kg, my feet will not hurt anymore, and I will be as agile and mobile as I was in 2018.
