The things left unsaid

Much unhappiness has come from things left unsaid. And that was me at the start of the year, leaving things unsaid and letting the emotions fester inside of me. But sometimes, fortuitous things can happen that contrive to make you see the light of your actions and that is what happened to me on the second day of the new year. I was given a second chance to say the things that would otherwise have been left unsaid and words that had been festering within me for years.

When I look back at this moment, it will almost seem like it was written in the stars. In this whole episode lies an important lesson for me - to take charge of situations and be active instead of passive.
